Who runs Sweat
Sweat is run by [full legal name] ("we", "us"), based in [city, state]. Right now it is a private preview for a few invited friends. It can change, pause, break, or stop at any time, and markets can come and go without notice. Using Sweat means you accept these terms; if you don't, please don't use it.
What Sweat is
Sweat is an information tool. It shows a prediction market's price next to the news and posts on X that landed around it, in time order.
- Not advice. Nothing on Sweat is financial, investment, or betting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or bet on anything. Decisions are yours, and so are their results.
- No trading. Sweat never places trades, holds no money, and cannot act on your accounts anywhere.
- Other people's data. Prices come from Polymarket, headlines from publishers via Google News, and posts from X. Any of it can be wrong, late, or removed, and we don't vouch for it. A story next to a move shares a clock with it; that does not mean it caused it.
- Independent. Sweat is not affiliated with or endorsed by Polymarket, Google, or X.
Using it fairly
Use Sweat the way a person does, in a browser. Don't scrape or bulk-download it, overload it, try to break into it or get around its limits, or use it for anything unlawful. Reactions are for reacting: don't script them, stuff the counts, or use them to harass anyone. We may block access that does any of this.
Comments on a market's thread follow the community rules:
- Timing and opinion, not advice.
- No harassment and no personal details about anyone.
- No hate: no attacks on anyone for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality.
- No spam, promotion or referral links.
- Don’t pose as someone else or as an insider.
- Breaking the rules gets the post removed. Repeat breaks lose the right to post, and you can still look and watch.
Content and ownership
Headlines belong to their publishers, and posts to their authors and X; they keep every right in them. Sweat shows a headline or a post and links to it rather than copying the article. To ask for something to be taken down, or to complain about it, email [contact email] and we will act promptly.
No promises
Sweat is provided "as is", with no promise that anything on it is accurate, complete, current, or available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using Sweat or relying on what it shows, including any trading or betting loss. Some places don't allow these limits; there, they apply as far as the law permits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [governing state].
Changes
We may change these terms as the preview changes. When we do, the date at the top changes, and using Sweat after it means you accept the new version.
