Where the page comes from.
Every item in a market’s feed is a real report or post, shown at the time Sweat first saw it (or, for one Sweat found later, when it was published), beside what the price was doing. This page says exactly what is watched, how fast, and what Sweat will never claim.
Sweat is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Kalshi, Polymarket, X, or Google; their names belong to them. Sweat is for adults: the markets it shows are for people 18 and over, and so is Sweat.

What Sweat watches
Three things, for every market it is collecting:
- The price. The followed side of the market, from Polymarket's public market data. For a Polymarket market, that is usually the midpoint between the best bid and the best ask on its order book; when Sweat has no order-book id for a market, it is the price Polymarket lists for it.
- News. Google News, swept for reports that match the market's people, teams, and terms. Sweat reads the headline, the publisher, and the publication time. It links to the publisher; it does not copy the article.
- Posts on X. Posts from accounts Sweat follows for the market, and posts it finds by searching X around a price move or when conversation about the market picks up, when X collection is on for that market. A post Sweat found by searching is labelled "Not from a known source". X is off by default and is controlled per market.
Nothing else. Sweat does not read your platform account, your browser history, or anyone's private messages. Position sync, when it exists, reads your open positions and writes nothing back.
How fresh it is
Prices update every minute. News usually lands 10 to 30 minutes after it's published. Part of that is Google News, which takes a few minutes to list a story; part is Sweat, which sweeps news every five minutes and usually checks each story is about the market before showing it. Sweat records the moment it first saw each report, so its record of each report keeps the lag rather than hiding it. Posts on X usually land within two minutes, where X is on for that market: Sweat searches X once a minute.
What one report holds
For each item Sweat keeps a small record. A news report carries these lines; a post on X carries its own, such as the account and whether the post is still up:
- Published
- the publisher's or author's own clock
- Sweat saw it
- when Sweat first recorded it, and the lag between the two
- Price then
- the market price at that moment
- Matched
- the entities that tied the report to this market
- Source
- the publisher's domain
Reading the feed
- Big moves are orange. A rise or drop several times the market's usual move for the same window, and never under 1¢, written as "▼6¢ in 40 min · 3× this market's usual 40-minute move". Orange means a big move and nothing else.
- One story, one item. When several outlets run the same story, it shows once, at the time it first landed, with "7 outlets on this story, including Reuters and Yahoo Finance".
- Reactions. 🔥 💪 😬 🤔 under every item. Add any or all four; tap one again to take it back. Counts are public and never say who. "Remove my reactions", at the end of a market's feed, deletes every reaction from that browser.
- What is left out. Articles that report a prediction market's own odds, sportsbook pages and off-topic matches are hidden behind one line at the end of the feed. Tap Show to see them.
- Counts on posts. Likes and reposts on a post from X are as they stood when Sweat found it, and say so.
- Thin markets. A market with little traded says so on its card. Small markets can jump on a single trade.
The record belongs to the market
During the beta, Sweat opens markets a few at a time and records them whether or not anyone is watching. Everything recorded is visible to everyone who opens that market. Watching or unwatching changes only your own markers, never the record.
When nobody was watching, nothing was recorded, and the chart says so: a hatched band across the gap, the price line broken across it, and a row in the feed. Sweat never fills a gap in.
Posts on X
- Sweat keeps a post's words only while the post is still up on X. If the author deletes it, protects the account, or X removes it, the words go within the deadline X sets, and the card becomes an audit shell that records that a post was there without reconstructing it.
- No images or media are stored.
- X collection is off by default, is controlled per market, and is capped per day so it stays affordable.
- Posts gaining attention fast carry a Rising tag; a post never sits inside a move as if it explained it.
- You can hide posts on X on any market from the end of its feed. Hiding changes what you see, not what is recorded.
Moves and health
A big move is a rise or drop several times the market’s usual move for the same window, and never under 1¢. It is drawn in orange on the chart and listed in the feed at its time, as in “▼6¢ in 40 min · 3× this market’s usual 40-minute move”. Items keep their own times: one that landed during a big move sits on that move’s stretch of the feed. Sweat never labels an item as before or after a move.
Source health shows nothing while the price and news feeds are fine. When one is delayed or has failed, the header says so in words, and the words leave when it recovers. When posts on X are not being shown, the feed says so.
What Sweat is not
- Not advice. Nothing here says what to buy or sell.
- Not a broker. Sweat places no bets, holds no funds, and cannot act on your platform account.
- Not complete. Sweat records what its sources surfaced when it looked. A report Google never indexed, or a post Sweat neither follows nor found by searching, is not here.
- Not a cause. See above, and it bears repeating.
Getting at it
Sweat aims to work with a keyboard and a screen reader, and its pages say what is happening in words rather than colour alone. If something is unusable for you, tell [hello@ address] and it becomes a priority.
Source health on every market page says when a source is delayed or has failed. Anything larger is posted [here, or on a status page], and account holders affected get an email.
Free and Pro
Sweat is in a friends preview, so only the free shape runs today: open any market Sweat is collecting without an account, watch one at a time, and see posts on X on every market that has them.
Free
